Futures - Part 1:  Introduction to Futures Hedging and Trading (half-day session) Options - Part 2:  Introduction to Hedging with Options (half-day session)     Informa Economics offers two half-day programs: Introduction to Futures Hedging and Trading and Introduction to Hedging With Options. These introductory programs will cover basic definitions and trading considerations for futures and for hedging options.    Both are required before continuing on to Part 3: Hedging and Trading with Options.  Course instruction, materials and lunch are provided.

Options - Part 3:  Hedging and Trading with Options (full-day session) Designed for the intermediate user with some understanding of options and option strategies on a fundamental level, this special one-day program will concentrate on basic option fundamentals and strategies, with practical application of options as a hedging tool. It will focus on two major factors that influence option prices - the price of underlying futures and volatility.  The course instructor is Mr. James B. Bittman.  Course instruction, materials and lunch are provided.

Options - Part 4:  Advanced Options Trading  (half-day session) Experienced option users will learn the trading and hedging applications of several advanced strategies that will be discussed in depth. Traders will learn the importance of tracking implied volatility, and hedgers will learn exactly how the strategies work and what can be expected from them.  Mr. Bittman is the instructor for this advanced session.

GENERAL INFORMATION   This program is offered through the class packages listed above (your selection should reflect your overall knowledge, skill and experience level in the futures and options markets). Please note that fees are subject to change The quickest and easiest way to register and submit the registration fee is online. Secure provisions are now available for credit card payments.  A receipt will be e-mailed to you as soon as the credit card transaction is complete.  You are welcomed to use VISA, MasterCard or American Express.    Please take note: If you are paying via check and your registration fee has not been received by the deadline designated in the most recent brochure, Informa will consider any registration form submitted prior to this date as invalid.  Also, if you must cancel after the deadline, for any reason, only a portion of your registration fee will be refunded to you to offset the expenses Informa has incurred on your behalf.  Your registration fee includes all class materials/handouts, including lunch.  Regarding the dress code, we stress casual and comfort - jeans, khakis, golf shirts are appropriate.
